Mirae Investment Inc. dba Paws & Play Pet Hotel is looking for a full time permanent pet grooming supervisor to join the team as soon as possible.

Job Details

Location: 8020 Sparrow Dr #105, Leduc, AB T9E 7G3

Wage: $20.77 – $22.00 / hour (To be negotiated)

Vacancies: 1 

Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time 30 – 40 hours / week

Start date: As soon as possible

Benefit: 4 percent of total wages for vacation pay

Job requirements

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 2 years to less than 2 years

Job Duties

• Assist pets with special requests or specific needs for their grooming and ensure their preferences are met

• Ensure the proper functioning of grooming equipment and machinery, and address any technical issues

• Establish grooming schedules and procedures to optimize workflow 

• Handle any grooming-related emergency situations

• Monitor the quality of grooming services and production levels

• Oversee the cleaning and grooming of specialty and difficult-to-handle pets

• If necessary, perform grooming activities for specific pets

• Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the grooming activities of workers

• Order materials, equipment and supplies

• Train grooming staff in job duties, safety protocols, and company policies
