Description

Our client, a leading player in the separation and filtration industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager – Chemist to join their team. The client provides engineering consultancy, development, and turnkey project services in industrial sectors such as pulp and paper, primary metal processing, chemicals, wood processing, and ore concentration.

MISSION:

• Develop and/or write procedures and test plans for laboratory technicians to follow.
• Perform direct and continuous supervision of technicians, overseeing the technical activities necessary for implementing these concepts and procedures.
• Validate data, reports, and procedures developed for laboratory testing of water and liquid separation processes.
• Analyze, coordinate, and write laboratory reports related to the treatment of liquids, gases, solids for project managers and clients.
• Provide clients with data, reports, and drawings of the developed concepts and procedures.
• Support the commercial manager in client interactions for project evaluations.

• Ability to maintain effective and harmonious relationships with project teams and clients.
• Autonomous, resourceful, and responsible.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Member of the Ordre des Chimistes du Québec.
• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with environmental aspects in heavy industry (gas/liquid treatment).

LANGUAGES REQUIRED:

• French: Very good knowledge.
• English: Very good knowledge.
