Cook – Double J Hong Kong Fusion

Location: 101-1180 Sunset Dr, Kelowna, BC, V1Y 9W6

Position Available: 1

Employment Type: Full-time, 2-Year Contract

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends

Hourly Wage: 19.50 per hour

We are currently seeking a passionate and reliable Cook to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
  • Supervise and coordinate kitchen helpers and junior kitchen staff
  • Assist in menu planning and development, including seasonal specials and new dishes
  • Oversee inventory levels and assist with ordering suppliers
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations

Qualifications

  • Completion of secondary school
  • Minimum 2 years of cooking experience in a restaurant setting
  • Experience in Asian or fusion cuisine is required
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to quality, teamwork, and customer satisfaction
