Job Duties:

Oversee and coordinate the restaurant’s daily operations, including dine-in, takeout and delivery services, to maintain efficient and consistent service
Review sales, operating expenses and labour requirements, and adjust staffing and operational priorities to help control costs and improve profitability
Prepare staff schedules and assign duties according to business volume, employee availability and operational needs
Supervise, train and evaluate kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure service standards, food quality and workplace procedures are consistently followed
Participate in recruiting restaurant staff, assess employee performance and address performance or operational issues as required
Monitor food, beverage, packaging and restaurant supply inventories, arrange replenishment and work with suppliers to maintain appropriate stock levels and costs
Review menu and product costs and recommend pricing or operational adjustments based on ingredient costs, sales performance and restaurant expenses
Establish and implement restaurant service procedures and operational standards to improve workflow, order accuracy and customer experience
Ensure compliance with food safety, workplace health and safety, and applicable liquor service requirements
Review cash and sales records, reconcile daily transactions and investigate discrepancies when required
Respond to customer concerns and service issues and take appropriate action to maintain customer satisfaction

Job requirements:

Experience: 3-5 years of supervisory experience in the food service industry is required
Education: Completion of secondary school is required
Language: English
