Job Duties:
- Prepare full meals and specialized dishes with high attention to detail
- Modify recipes to safely accommodate guests with food allergies or intolerances
- Track portion sizes to maintain plate consistency and reduce kitchen waste
- Check the ingredients and equipment needed for daily service
- Instruct kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food safety protocols
- Monitor inventory levels and keep work areas clean and organized
- Oversee kitchen helpers to ensure a smooth workflow
Job requirements:
- Education: Completion of secondary school is required
- Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience is required
- Language: English
