Position Info:

• Position: Food Service Supervisor
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $21.00/hour
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  1
• Work Location: 766 Goldstream Avenue, Langford, BC V9B 2X3

Benefits:

• 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Develop efficient work procedures to ensure daily service schedules are met
• Supervise and coordinate employees involved in preparing, portioning and serving sushi and other menu items
• Order food ingredients, packaging materials and other kitchen supplies as required
• Train staff on job responsibilities, food safety, sanitation and workplace procedures
• Determine the quantities of ingredients and supplies needed for daily meal preparation
• Monitor food presentation, portion sizes and customer service to maintain established quality standards
• Respond to customer concerns and resolve service-related issues professionally
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, sales, equipment repairs and food wastage
• Prepare and organize staff work schedules based on operational requirements

Job Requirements:

• Language: English
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Experience: 2-3 years of experience in food preparation or service is required
