Job Requirements

– Education: Completion of Secondary (high) school
– Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a sushi chef
– Personal Suitability: Team player, Flexibility
– Language of work: English

Job Duties

– Plan sushi menus and ensure the quality and freshness of food
– Estimate the required amount and costs for food items and supplies
– Oversee and document food costs, usage, sales, and inventory management
– Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and other food preparation staff
– Guide cooks in sushi preparation, knife techniques, plating, and presentation
– Train staff to prepare and assemble all sushi and menu items
– Prepare and make sushi and other menu items on a regular basis, or for special events
