Khalsa Trading Corp. Dba Towne Centre Card Shop & Postal Outlet in Kelowna is looking for Permanent, Full-time positions for 1 Retail Store Supervisor to assist in running our growing firm and could join immediately.

Location: 19-565 Bernard Ave suite 19, Kelowna, British Columbia, V1Y 8R2

Positions Available: 1 (One)

Anticipated Start date: As soon as possible.

Compensation: $25.00 per hour

Work hours: 30 hours/week

Terms: Full-Time

Language of Work: English

Job duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and co-ordinate sales staff and cashiers.
  • Assign sales workers to duties.
  • Operate cash registers and authorize payments by cheque and the return of merchandise.
  • Sell merchandise to customers.
  • Replenish sales floor.
  • Maintain specified inventory.
  • Monitor and prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters.
  • Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages.
  • Maintain store health and safety procedures.
  • Keep the store tidy and attractive.
  • Hire and train or arrange for the training of new sales staff.

Skills and Education:

1-2 years of related experience

Completion of Secondary School
