Restaurant and food service manager

Description

We are currently seeking to fill 2 positions of 60030 – Restaurant and food service managers

As a member of our fast-food restaurant team located at 550 BOULEVARD WILFRID-HAMEL QUÉBEC CITY G1M 2S6, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction.

Your responsibilities will include:

·       manage the service in the restaurant or establishment during their shift,

·       determine operating procedures,

·       be involved in the hiring of staff and ensure their training,

·       monitor work schedules, staff performance, stocks, and receipts,

·       evaluate methods and prices,

·       follow up on customer complaints and claims.

·       negotiate with suppliers and customers,

·       ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Work Conditions:

This is a full-time position requiring 30 hours of work per week with an hourly wage of $34.65.

The working hours are as follows:

Monday to Friday: from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM

Please note that days off are typically Saturday and Sunday, although this may vary based on business needs. Therefore, flexibility is essential for this position.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in French or English.
• Completed high school diploma usually required

·  A minimum of one (1) year of experience in fast food or two (2) years of experience in the food service industry is required, or the equivalent of this experience, such as a diploma in management, food service management, or human resources, is acceptable.
