Description

A busy professional family in Montreal is looking for a caregiver to care for two children, who will also perform housekeeping and other household duties. This is a permanent, full-time position for 30 hours per week, 5 days per week.

The schedule is as follows: Monday from 5:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.; Tuesday from 5:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.; Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.; Thursday from 11:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.; Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.; and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The wage is $36 per hour. Two days off are provided, usually Saturday and Sunday, but these may vary depending on the employer’s work schedule; therefore, flexibility is essential.

There is an option to live at the employer’s residence at no additional cost. The caregiver may be required to take care of the home and the children in the parents’ absence.

The required language is French.or English.

 

*Educational level required:

General High school diploma – Completed 

*Experience related to employment:

1-2 Years of experience with children or equivalent experience, either through work or studies as a teacher, nurse, midwife, or psychologist is required.

 

*Other conditions:

Punctuality, reliability, judgment, sense of responsibility, good interpersonal skills, organizational skills, experience with children.
