Position Info:

• Position: Home support worker
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $24.50/hour
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  1
• Work Location: 20077 84 Avenue suite 211, Langley, BC V2Y 3X7

Benefits:

• 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Safely assist with and manage the client’s prescribed medication schedule
• Support the client's mobility by accompanying them on daily walks and assisting with light exercises
• Take care of the client’s laundry, including personal clothes, towels, and bedsheets
• Maintain a clean and tidy living space by doing light cleaning and organizing
• Offer meaningful emotional support and friendly conversation to prevent social isolation
• Assist the client with essential daily activities, including bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene
• Run errands outside the home, such as grocery shopping and purchasing everyday household necessities
• Cook and present healthy, well-balanced meals according to the client’s dietary preferences

Job requirements:

• Experience is an asset
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Language: English
