Position Info:

• Position: Chef
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $30.50-$32.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 1
• Work Location: 4900 McGillivray Blvd, Oak Bluff, MB R4G 0B7

Job Duties:

• Cook meals and specialized dishes for guests with food allergies
• Manage kitchen staff by handling hiring, scheduling, and daily supervision
• Order necessary food stock, ingredients, and daily kitchen supplies
• Organize kitchen equipment purchases, routine maintenance, and repairs
• Track kitchen inventory, sales data, and ongoing food costs
• Review operating expenses to accurately estimate future supply needs
• Ensure all food consistently meets quality and presentation standards
• Train the team on new cooking methods, equipment, and safe food handling

Job Requirements:

• Language: English
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Experience: 3-5 years of related experience including supervisory experience is required
