Position Info:

• Position: Restaurant Manager
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $38.50/hour
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  1
• Work Location: 403 North Road Unit 101, Coquitlam, BC V3K 3V9

Job Duties:

• Direct and coordinate daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service flow
• Hire competent team members to meet staffing needs
• Onboard and train employees on service standards, menu knowledge, and operational procedures
• Create and manage weekly staff shifts to optimize labor costs and operational efficiency
• Supervise team performance and provide ongoing guidance to maintain service quality
• Review financial performance and operational costs to minimize waste and increase overall profit margins
• Develop comprehensive budgets to calculate exact costs for food, beverage, and operational supplies
• Adjust menu pricing and food preparation standards in response to budget constraints and ingredient costs
• Negotiate terms and pricing with suppliers to secure quality food, beverage, and restaurant supplies
• Track stock levels and oversee inventory control to minimize waste and supply shortages
• Enforce strict food safety, sanitation, and workplace health standards across all shifts
• Resolve customer feedback and service issues promptly to ensure high guest satisfaction

Job requirements:

• Experience: 3-5 years of supervisory experience in the food service industry is required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Language: English
