Job Duties: 
Handle, sort, and move fish and seafood products safely throughout the plant.
Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and processing surfaces to maintain food safety standards.
Assist with packing, labelling, and preparing products for storage or shipment.
Inspect product for quality, defects, and proper handling during processing steps.
Follow workplace safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures at all times.
Support basic operation and setup of plant equipment as directed by supervisors.
Work cooperatively with team members to meet daily production targets.
Report equipment issues, product concerns, or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
Other duties that apply.
 
Job Requirements: 
Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks and work in a fast-paced, cold or wet environment.
No formal education required; secondary school is an asset.
Experience in fish processing or general labour is an asset, but willing to train the right candidate.
Strong attention to detail when handling food products and following instructions.
Ability to work well with others and follow directions from supervisors.
Commitment to workplace safety, cleanliness, and good hygiene practices.
Ability to communicate in English.
