Benefits:

4% of salary for vacation remuneration.

Job Duties:

Create new recipes and develop menu items for the restaurant.

Plan menus and ensure that all food meets the restaurant’s quality standards.

Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty Japanese dishes, including sushi rolls, sushi dons, donburi, tempura, teriyaki, udon, and other menu items.

Prepare and cook food on a regular basis and for special orders or functions.

Instruct cooks and kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking, garnishing, and plate presentation.

Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff during daily kitchen operations.

Train staff in the proper preparation, cooking, and handling of food.

Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.

Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs when necessary.

Maintain food quality, kitchen efficiency, cleanliness, and compliance with food safety standards.

Job Requirements:

Education: Completion of secondary school is required, or equivalent experience.
Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field is required.
