Maple Creek Home Hardware in Maple Creek, SK is looking for a full-time Cashier to join our team.
Position Available: 1
Hourly Wage: C$15.70~C$16.00 / hour
Work Hours: 30.00~40.00 hours / week (full-time and permanent)
Vacation: 15 days of paid vacation per year or 5.77% of gross salary
Work Location: 111 Jasper Street, Maple Creek, SK S0N 1N0
Language of Work: English
Job duties:
– Greet customers and provide information about items at the home hardware store
– Receive and process payments in cash, by credit card or automatic debit
– Establish or identify price of goods, services or admission and tabulate total payment required using electronic or other cash register or optical price scanner or other equipment
– Calculate total payments received at end of work shift and reconcile with total sales
– Wrap or place merchandise in bags
– Stock shelves and clean check-out counter area
– Monitor all entrances and exits, request proof of payment when necessary
– Provide customer service
Requirements:
· Some secondary school education (completion of Grade 10) is required.
· No experience is required (training will be provided).
· Excellent oral communication skills
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
