Position Info:

• Position: Kitchen Helper
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $18.25/hour
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  1
• Work Location: 38005 Cleveland Ave, Squamish, BC V8B 0C3

Benefits:

• 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, glassware, cutlery, and other kitchen items
• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, kitchen tools, and food preparation items by hand when required
• Clean and sanitize kitchen work areas, storage spaces, appliances, equipment, and preparation surfaces
• Collect and dispose of kitchen garbage, recycling, and waste in a safe and timely manner
• Sweep, mop, wash, and maintain kitchen floors to support a clean and safe working environment
• Wash, peel, cut, and prepare vegetables, fruits, and other basic ingredients for Korean and sushi menu items
• Assist cooks and sushi kitchen staff by preparing, heating, plating, and finishing simple food items under supervision

Job Requirements:

• Experience: Experience is an asset
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Language: English
