• Position: Restaurant Manager
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $38.50/hour
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  1

Job Duties:

• Develop and manage the restaurant’s operating budget by reviewing food, beverage, supply, labour, and overhead costs to maintain profitability
• Analyze sales, revenue, and cost reports to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase overall business performance
• Establish and update restaurant operating procedures, service standards, and internal policies to ensure consistent and efficient operations
• Determine menu pricing, service offerings, and promotional strategies in consultation with ownership, based on customer demand and operating costs
• Recruit, select, and onboard new staff to meet the restaurant’s operational needs and long-term staffing requirements
• Monitor overall staff performance and conduct performance reviews to maintain productivity, service quality, and workplace standards
• Negotiate with suppliers for food, beverage, packaging, and other restaurant supplies to secure reliable service, competitive pricing, and appropriate inventory levels
• Participate in marketing plans and local business development initiatives to increase customer traffic, promote the restaurant, and support revenue growth

Job requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in the food service industry is required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Language: English
