Position Info:

·         Position: Food Service Supervisor

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $20.15/hour

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 1644 Hillside Ave Suite 46A, Victoria, BC V8T 2C5

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Establish daily work schedules and organize staff assignments to support efficient food preparation and customer service

·         Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare, portion, package, and serve Japanese food items

·         Train food service staff in job duties, sanitation practices, food safety procedures, and workplace standards

·         Estimate ingredients, packaging materials, and other supplies required for daily meal preparation and service

·         Ensure that food quality, portion sizes, presentation, and customer service meet the establishment’s standards

·         Maintain records of inventory, sales, food waste, repairs, and supplies to support daily restaurant operations

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 2-3 years of experience in food preparation or service is required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Language: English
