Preferably completion of a culinary program
Specialty in Asian cruisine
Food safe level 1
Experience
3-5 years kitchen experience,
Japanese cuisine experience 1-2 years
Responsibilities &tasks
Prepare &cook complete meals or individual dishes
Inspect kitchens & food service areas
Train staffs in preparation, cooking &handling of food
Order supplies & equipments
Maintain inventory & records of food, supplies & equipments
Clean kitchen & work areas
Manage kitchen operations
Help cut sashimi and make sushi rolls when needed
Work conditions & physical capabilities
Abilities to stand for extended periods
Withstand heat & deal with pressure in a fast-paced environment
Handling heavy loads
Attention to details &reliable
Great team player & can work independently too
Flexibility
Good time management & organizational skills
Compensations
wage $23-$26/hr, variable on qualifications & experience
32-40 hrs/week, variable on businesss"s needs
