SMS Silencers is hiring a Welder Supervisor
Location: 1-375 Wheelabrator Way, Milton, Ontario

Salary: $36/hr (35 hours weekly)

Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
Experience: 1 years to less than 2 years
Work setting: Manufacturing
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications
2) Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux-cored arc welding (FCAW), plasma arc welding (PAW), shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), oxy-acetylene welding (OAW), resistance welding and submerged arc welding (SAW)
3) Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
4) Operate brazing and soldering equipment
5) Operate metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears and other metal straightening and bending machines
6) Repair worn parts of metal products by welding on extra layers.
