Skills Requirements:
- Education: Completion of Secondary/High School Graduation Certificate
- Work experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of Food Service Industry experience is required
Job Duties:
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods such as signature and special pizzas, garlic breads, pasta, wings etc.
- Prepare and cook special meals for customers with dietary restrictions such as gluten free, plant based etc.
- Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers and food counter attendants.
- Manage and coordinate kitchen activities to ensure smooth operations.
- Keep track of food, supplies and equipment inventory, maintaining accurate records.
- Prepare and oversee ready-to-go items like pizza slices, for quick service.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and work area, ensuring a hygienic environment.
- Assist with menu planning, portion sizing, food cost estimation, and supply management.
- Support hiring efforts and provide training for kitchen staff and food counter attendants.
- May perform other duties as required by the business.
