Job Details

  • Position Title: Cook

  • Full-time Position
  • Wage: $20.00 per hour
  • Hours of Work: Minimum 35 hours per week
  • Overtime: As per Alberta Employment Standards
  • Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Description / Main Duties

The Cook will perform the following duties, including but not limited to:

  • Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes according to standardized recipes
  • Prepare Korean-inspired menu items such as ddeokbokki and other hot food items
  • Set up and oversee kitchen workstations
  • Ensure quality control, portion control, and presentation of food
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen areas and ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Employment Requirements

  • Education: High school graduation required
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of work experience as a cook or line cook
  • Language: Ability to communicate in English
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
