Skill Requirements:
 
Education:No formal education required
Minimum 2 years of experience in the field are required
Languages: Written and Oral English is required.
Specific Skills:
 
Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered
Measure, cut and fasten underlay and underpadding
Measure, cut and install vinyl using hand or machine stitcher or other bonding materials
Stretch vinyl using knee-kicker or power stretcher and secure vinyl to floor or other surfaces using staple gun or other devices
Measure, cut and install resilient floor covering using adhesive, rollers and other hand tools
Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
May estimate material and labour costs.
