Position Info:

• Position: Retail Sales Supervisor
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $24.00/hour
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  1
• Work Location: 101-637 Main Street, Canmore, AB T1W 2V3

Job Duties:

• Oversee daily store operations and coordinate sales staff to maintain high customer service standards
• Assign daily tasks and shift responsibilities to retail associates based on store needs
• Recruit new sales staff and conduct training on store policies and product knowledge
• Create and manage weekly work schedules to ensure optimal staff coverage during peak hours
• Order retail merchandise directly from vendors and restock store items
• Track inventory levels, perform physical stock counts, and manage product displays
• Review and approve complex product returns, exchanges, and customer refund requests
• Resolve customer complaints, service issues, and stock shortages promptly and professionally
• Compile and analyze operational data regarding sales performance, inventory turnover, and staff scheduling

Job requirements:

• Experience: 1-2 years of supervisory experience in retail or customer service is required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Language: English
