Position Info:

• Position: Restaurant Manager
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $37.00/hour
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 1
• Work Location: 4700 Hammond Bay Rd, Nanaimo, BC V9T 5B1

Job Duties:

• Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of employees
• Plan, manage and evaluate the operation of the restaurant and food service
• Establish staff work schedules and manage staff performance
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
• Determine and develop customer service, and implement operational procedures
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
• Maintain accurate cash records and prepare balance sheets, cash reports, and other related forms
• Resolve customer’s complaints and concerns
• Manage inventory, monitor revenues, and adjust procedures as needed
• Recruit and train staff, and oversee staff training

Job requirements:

• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience, are required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Language: English
