Position Info:

• Position: Kitchen Helper
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $18.00-$19.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 2
• Work Location: 2006 Oak Bay Ave, Victoria, BC V8R 1E4

Benefits:

Job Duties:

• Process ingredients by using manual and electric tools to peel, slice, and trim food
• Sanitize the entire kitchen facility, including work surfaces, storage units, and equipment
• Unload incoming deliveries and organize them within the appropriate cold or dry storage
• Wash all dishes, glassware, and flatware using industrial dishwashers or manual sinks
• Restock condiments and station supplies to ensure service areas remain fully prepared
• Distribute clean tableware and linens to dining areas and set tables for service
• Assemble takeout orders by packaging food items and verifying they are ready for pickup

Job Requirements:

• Language: English
• Experience: Experience an asset
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
