Position Info:

• Position: Restaurant Assistant Manager
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $37.00/hour
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  1
• Work Location: 1-612 Head Street, Victoria, BC V9A 5S8

Benefits:

• 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Assist in reviewing food preparation methods and menu pricing to align with budget goals, under the direction of the Restaurant Manager
• Support the preparation of daily cash summaries and related financial documents
• Support customer service operations by supervising staff interactions and addressing customer concerns
• Handle routine customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner
• Assist in executing marketing strategies and promotional activities as directed by the Restaurant Manager
• Support daily operational planning and coordination under the supervision of the Manager
• Support the Manager in staff recruitment, training, and supervision activities

Job requirements:

• Language: English
• Experience: 2-3 years of supervisory experience in the food service industry is required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
