Job Duties:

Assist the Restaurant Manager in evaluating daily restaurant operations to ensure efficient service, proper staffing, and smooth coordination between front of house and kitchen staff
Support the Restaurant Manager in planning, organizing, and overseeing daily restaurant activities to maintain consistent service quality and operational efficiency
Assist with preparing staff work schedules and coordinating shift coverage based on business needs, reservations, and peak service hours
Monitor employee performance during daily operations and report any staffing or service issues to the Restaurant Manager as required
Assist in training new and existing staff on restaurant procedures, customer service standards, workplace policies, and health and safety practices
Supervise restaurant staff during assigned shifts, assign daily duties, and ensure employees follow company standards and operational procedures
Assist with organizing and monitoring inventory levels for food, beverages, and restaurant supplies, and communicate ordering needs to the Restaurant Manager
Respond to customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner and escalate complex service issues to the Restaurant Manager when necessary

Job requirements:

Experience: 3-5 years of supervisory experience in the food service industry is required
Education: Completion of secondary school is required
Language: English
