Rice and Noodle Restaurant is seeking a F/T Restaurant Manager.

Position Info:

• Position: Restaurant Manager
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $37.00-$38.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  1
• Work Location: 2857 West Broadway, Vancouver, BC V6K 2G6

Benefits:

• 4 % vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Coordinate daily operations to ensure a seamless workflow between the kitchen and the dining area
• Analyze budgets to identify cost-saving opportunities and maintain consistent restaurant profitability
• Adjust menu prices and food prep methods based on fluctuating ingredient costs and waste reports
• Supervise staff performance by providing ongoing feedback and training service standards
• Organize inventory by tracking stock levels and negotiating favorable terms with various suppliers
• Manage staffing needs, including the recruitment of new hires and the creation of weekly schedules
• Monitor compliance with all local health and safety regulations to ensure a clean work environment
• Resolve customer concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience and repeat business

Job Requirements:

• Language: English
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Experience: 3-5 years of related experience including supervisory experience is required
