Rice and Noodle Restaurant is seeking a F/T Food Service Supervisor.

Position Info:

• Position: Food Service Supervisor
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $20.45-$22.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  1
• Work Location: 204-7155 Kingsway, Burnaby, BC V5E 2V1

Benefits:

• 4 % vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Coordinate the daily tasks of the prep and plating staff to keep service moving on time
• Track daily stock, equipment repairs, sales, and food waste to keep accurate records
• Order food, kitchen supplies, and equipment to keep the kitchen fully stocked
• Estimate how much food and supplies are needed for upcoming shifts to avoid shortages
• Inspect every dish and interaction to make sure the food and service stay up to standard
• Train new and current team members on their specific duties, food safety, and shop sanitation
• Hire new food service staff to maintain proper staffing levels
• Handle customer complaints and concerns immediately to fix issues on the floor

Job Requirements:

• Language: English
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Experience: 2-3 years of experience in commercial food preparation or service is required
