Skills Requirements:
· Education: Completion of secondary/high school graduation certificate
· Work experience: 1 month to less than 7 months of experience as a Cashier or Food Counter Attendant, or Retail Store Supervisor in a convenience store is required

Job Duties:
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of cashiers and food counter attendants to ensure efficient customer service across the convenience, grocery, liquor, deli, and takeout sections.
• Assign duties and prepare work schedules to maintain adequate staffing and coverage throughout operating hours.
• Oversee employees who take convenience store and food orders and prepare, portion, heat, assemble, package, and serve hot and ready-to-eat foods, including sub sandwiches, chicken, and baked goods.
• Address customer requests and complaints and resolve operational issues involving merchandise, food quality, order accuracy, preparation, packaging, and service.
• Authorize payments and verify transactions for retail, grocery, liquor and vape products, lottery tickets, and manage returns or exchanges in accordance with store policies.
• Monitor inventory levels of retail merchandise, food ingredients, packaging materials, cooking supplies, cleaning products, and other operational supplies to ensure adequate stock and meet customer demand.
• Prepare and maintain reports relating to sales, inventory, merchandising, staffing, supply usage, equipment repairs, and product wastage to support management in monitoring business performance.
• Hire and train new employees, arrange additional training as required, and monitor staff performance to ensure compliance with customer-service, food-handling, sanitation, workplace-safety, and equipment-use standards.
• Maintain store presentation and operational standards, including product displays, signage, cleanliness, food-preparation and storage areas, and kitchen equipment.
• Perform the duties of cashiers and food counter attendants when required to support daily operations.
• Carry out key-holding and managerial duties, including opening and closing the store, overseeing shifts, handling escalated customer concerns, coordinating retail and food-supply deliveries, and ensuring all service areas operate efficiently.
• Oversee payroll administration.
• Perform other related duties as required by the business.
