Retail sales manager -1 position

10-601 Boleskine Rd. Victoria BC V8Z 1C5



Salary $43.27 per hour , 6 to 8 hrs. per day, 5 days a week , 30 to 40 hours per week, flexible shift ,2 days flexible days off .

Work schedules are expected to be shift of 6 to 8 hours , depending on the business operation, these shifts will continuously vary from morning, day ,afternoon, evening, weekend with flexible hours.

• College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years



Experience

3 years to less than 5 years

Experience in floor covering sales preferred



On site

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities

Tasks

• Direct and control daily operations

• Evaluate daily operations

• Plan and organize daily operations

• Manage staff and assign duties

• Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors' operations on sales

• Implement price and credits policies

• Develop and implement marketing strategies

• Determine staffing requirements

• Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages

• Conduct performance reviews

• Supervise office and volunteer staff

• Supervise sales staff and installers
