Benefits:
– 4% of salary for vacation remuneration or 10 days of paid vacation.
Job Duties:
Oversee and evaluate day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service flow in a high-volume sushi dining environment
Monitor staff performance and provide ongoing coaching to maintain high service standards and team productivity
Plan, organize, and optimize daily operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house coordination
Lead recruitment efforts, including hiring, onboarding, and retention of service and kitchen staff
Develop and manage staff schedules based on business needs, peak hours, and labor cost control
Supervise, train, and mentor staff to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain brand standards
Determine service offerings and implement operational procedures tailored to sushi dining, including dine-in and take-out services
Manage inventory levels, including fresh seafood and perishable goods, ensuring quality control and minimizing waste
Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and food handling regulations (e.g., FoodSafe standards in BC)
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service recovery professionally to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty
Provide hands-on customer service support during peak hours to ensure a seamless dining experience
Job Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school is required.
Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in a related field and position is mandatory.
Certificate: Serving It Right Certificate
