Compensation: $38.00–$42.00 per hour (to be negotiated), 35–40 hours per week

Job Duties

• Source, evaluate, and purchase stainless steel materials, fabrication supplies, welding consumables, and project-related equipment required for manufacturing and turnkey engineering projects.

• Identify and assess domestic and international suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness, quality standards, and timely availability of materials for food, dairy, pharmaceutical, chemical, and beverage industry projects.

• Prepare and process purchase orders, review quotations, negotiate pricing and delivery terms, and ensure compliance with company procurement policies.

• Coordinate closely with engineering, fabrication, and project teams to forecast material requirements and support uninterrupted production and installation schedules.

• Monitor inventory levels and supplier performance to minimize delays, control costs, and maintain continuity across multiple concurrent projects.

• Review supplier documentation, certifications, and specifications to ensure materials meet regulatory, safety, and industry standards.

• Track procurement records, contracts, deliveries, and invoices, and resolve discrepancies related to quality, quantity, or timelines.

• Support continuous improvement by identifying alternative suppliers, cost-saving opportunities, and efficient procurement practices aligned with business growth.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Experience

• 1 year to less than 2 years in a related role

Work Location

• On-site — Work must be performed at the company’s physical location. Remote work is not available.
