Istanbul Cuisine/Pizza Art is a Halal based American – Neapolitan pizzeria with 2 locations satisfying the cravings of pizza connoisseurs all over the lower mainland for several years.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hand-stretched experienced pizza cook who knows how to cook pizza with love. The person we are looking for must be able to make and bake every pizza as a piece of art. As we are famous for our Lahmacun and Kofte expertise in making them is a must.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the pizza dough from scratch.
• Make Pizza with the hand stretching method.
• To be able to cater to different customer diet needs and cook unique recipes if needed.
• Looking after kitchen operations and manage the stock of ingredients.
• Communicate with suppliers to maintain sustainable supply and smooth operation.
• To coordinate with the operation manager(s) about new ideas and suggestions for menu.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen work area.

Qualifications: 

• Post-secondary education or years of relevant experience is required.
• 3-5 years of experience in cooking and pizza preparation.
• Strong reference is a must.
• Shouldn’t been suspended before for sanitary reasons.
• The hand stretching Pizza technique is a plus.
• Ability to work on weekends and flexible shift hours.
• A team player with a multi-tasking personality is highly regarded.
