Pinetree Dental Lab is seeking a F/T Dental Laboratory Technician Assistant

Position Info:

• Position: Dental Laboratory Technician Assistant
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $37.00/hour
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 1
• Work Location: 201-19232 Enterprise Way, Surrey, BC V3S 6J9

Job Duties:

• Assist in the preparation of plaster models and dental moulds used in prosthetic fabrication
• Support the fabrication process by packing and shaping dental materials to produce full and partial dentures
• Perform waxing procedures on denture setups to ensure proper form and fit prior to final processing
• Polish and finish dentures to achieve appropriate surface texture, appearance, and patient comfort
• Contribute to the finishing of metal frameworks used in denture and prosthetic constructions
• Maintain and sterilize dental laboratory tools, equipment, and workstations in accordance with safety and hygiene standards
• Monitor and manage inventory of dental laboratory materials and supplies, ensuring timely replenishment
• Provide guidance and training support to junior laboratory assistants to maintain consistency in production quality

Job Requirements:

• Language: English
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in dental technology industry is required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
