Position Info:

• Position: Dental Laboratory Assistant
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $34.00~$38.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  1
• Work Location: 201-19232 Enterprises Way, Surrey, BC V3S 6J9

Job Duties:

• Prepare plaster models and moulds from dental impressions
• Prepare wax bite-blocks and impression trays
• Cast gold or metal alloys for bridges and denture bases
• Pack plastic material in moulds to form full or partial dentures
• Mould wax over denture setups to create the full contours of artificial gums
• Finish the metal framework of dentures and polish and buff dentures to obtain a natural finish
• Fabricate orthodontic bands from metals such as silver or stainless steel

Job Requirements:

• Language: English
• Experience: 1~2 years of experience in dental technology industry is required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
