Skill Requirements:
• Education: A college diploma is required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the field are required.
- Languages: Written and Oral English is required.
Specific Skills:
- Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the daily activities of rope access technicians, supervisors, and field crews performing exterior building maintenance and low-rise services.
- Assign work tasks, crews, and equipment to ensure jobs are completed efficiently, safely, on time, and in accordance with company quality standards.
- Monitor employee performance on job sites and provide ongoing coaching, instruction, and corrective guidance to improve productivity, workmanship, and safety compliance.
- Train and mentor technicians and supervisors in approved work methods, safety procedures, fall-protection systems, and work-at-heights practices, ensuring compliance with WorkSafeBC and internal safety policies.
- Conduct regular worksite, vehicle, and equipment inspections to verify adherence to safety procedures, maintenance standards, and operational requirements.
- Ensure supervisors complete and submit required site documentation, including safety plans, hazard assessments, job logs, and time records.
- Investigate operational issues, safety incidents, and quality deficiencies; recommend and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Participate in hands-on technical work when required, including exterior cleaning, pressure washing, gutter cleaning, and other related services, while leading crews as a working supervisor.
- Coordinate with management to monitor job progress, resource utilization, and productivity metrics, and report delays, operational issues, or staffing needs.
- Support seasonal operations, including supervising snow removal and ice management crews, monitoring weather conditions, scheduling shifts, and troubleshooting operational challenges.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working condition and ensure proper housekeeping at job sites and storage locations.
- Enforce company policies, safety regulations, and work procedures consistently across all crews.
- Perform other supervisory and operational duties as assigned by management.
