Job Description:
- Drive with a partner or as part of a convoy.
- Load and unload freight safely.
- Secure permits and required documents for international transport.
- Operate straight and articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
- Inspect and monitor vehicle condition, including tires, lights, brakes, refrigeration, and equipment.
- Adjust brakes when required.
- Complete emergency roadside repairs.
- Conduct pre trip, en route, and post trip inspections.
- Maintain responsibility for overall vehicle operation and condition.
- Record cargo details, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
- Secure loads with tarps and ensure cargo safety.
- Transport and handle dangerous goods according to regulations.
