Position Info:

• Position: Chef
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $30.16-$31.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 3
• Work Location: 17A-1399 McPhillips St, Winnipeg, MB R2V 3C4

Job Duties:

• Direct kitchen operations and streamline food preparation workflows for high-volume service
• Prepare and cook full meals and signature specialty dishes with consistent precision
• Develop menus while enforcing strict food quality, taste, and safety standards
• Supervise staff to maintain high productivity and a collaborative environment
• Train and mentor team members on cooking techniques, plate presentation, and hygiene
• Support recruitment efforts by assisting in the hiring and onboarding of kitchen personnel
• Oversee equipment procurement and coordinate routine maintenance to minimize downtime

Job requirements:

• Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience are required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Language: English
