Position Info:

• Position: Retail Butcher
• Terms of employment: Full-Time, Permanent
• Wage: $22.00-$24.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-44 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  1
• Work Location: 102 Central Avenue E, Linden, AB T0M 1J0

Job Duties:

• Clean and prep all meat carcasses for final processing or specialized cutting
• Prepare custom cuts of meat based on specific customer requests and orders
• Carve standard retail cuts by trimming and portioning meat for display
• Debone various proteins to maximize yield and prepare boneless cuts
• Process ground meats using professional equipment to maintain daily stock levels
• Package finished products securely for retail sale or customer pickup
• Evaluate product weights to set accurate pricing and handle over-the-counter sales

Job requirements:

• Language: English
• Experience: 2-3 years of related experience is required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
