Position Info:

• Position: Childcare Centre Administrator
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $45.02/hour
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  1
• Work Location: 5412 Vedder Road, Chilliwack, BC V2R 3M4

Job Duties:

• Oversee and manage the overall operations of the child-care centre, ensuring programs are delivered effectively and in compliance with applicable standards
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise the implementation of child-care and early learning programs to meet developmental and regulatory requirements
• Evaluate program effectiveness and make necessary improvements to enhance service quality and operational efficiency
• Recruit, train, and supervise staff, while providing ongoing leadership and performance guidance
• Develop and implement administrative policies, procedures, and operational guidelines to support efficient centre management
• Establish and monitor budgets, including program expenses, staffing costs, and operational resources
• Address and resolve workplace issues or conflicts among staff, ensuring a positive and professional working environment
• Collaborate with stakeholders and represent the centre in communications with regulatory bodies, community partners, and external organizations

Job requirements:

• Education: College Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood Education is required
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a related field is required
• Certificate: First Aid Certificate & CPR Certificate and ECE Certificate
• Language: English
