Job Duties:

Plan and oversee the daily operations of residential tiling and construction projects to ensure work is completed efficiently and according to project requirements
Supervise tile setters and other construction employees, assign daily work, establish priorities and monitor the quality and productivity of their work
Develop construction schedules and project milestones and monitor progress to ensure projects are completed within established timelines
Review architectural drawings, floor plans, specifications and measurements to determine project requirements, installation methods and material needs
Prepare labour and material cost estimates for residential construction and tiling projects and monitor project expenditures against approved budgets
Recruit, train and supervise construction employees and assess staffing requirements based on current and upcoming projects
Establish workmanship and quality-control procedures for tile installation and related construction activities and ensure completed work meets company and project standards
Coordinate the ordering and delivery of tiles, adhesives, grout, waterproofing materials and other construction supplies required for each project
Monitor job-site operations and address scheduling, staffing, material or workmanship issues that may affect project completion
Maintain project records and prepare reports on work progress, labour utilization, project costs and completion status for management

Job Requirements:

Language: English
Experience: Five or more years of supervisory experience in the construction industry is required
Education: Completion of secondary school is required
