Mr Quality Foods Ltd. Dba Captain Meat & Poultry is seeking a full-time Sales Supervisor. Location: 1708 Bowen Rd unit 24 Nanaimo, British Columbia, V9R 1G5.(Even Though this full-time position we encourage part time job seekers to apply as well). Salary is 36.60 dollars per hour. No of hours are 30 per week.



Job Description/Duties

Supervise and co-ordinate sales staff and cashiers.

Assign workers to duties and prepare work schedules.

Authorize payments and the return of merchandise.

Sell merchandise to customers.

Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages.

Maintain specified inventory and order merchandise.

Prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters.

Train or arrange for the training of new staff.

Ensure the visual standards and image of the store are maintained, such as store displays, signage and cleanliness.

May perform key holding and managerial duties if required, such as opening and closing the store, managing escalated complaints, developing and implementing marketing strategies, and signing for deliveries.



Requirements:

Completion of secondary school is usually required. Previous 1-2 years retail sales experience as a retail salesperson or sales clerk, cashier, telemarketer, door-to-door salesperson or rental agent is required.
