1 Full-time Assistant Manager, Restaurant is needed for INDIAN PALATE RESTAURANT LTD. at 438 1St Ave Ladysmith, BC V9G 1A5 .(Even though this position is full time position, we encourage part time jobseekers to apply as well.) Salary is 36.60 dollars per hour and no.of hours are 30 perweek
Main Duties:
Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of a restaurant
Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
Recruit staff and oversee staff training
Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance
Control inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices
Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed
Employment requirements:
Completion of secondary school. Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management is usually required. At least 2 years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience, are required.
