IN-HOME CAREGIVER (QUÉBEC – J1X 6X4)

Description

A very busy professional family in Québec is looking for two caregivers for three children, who will also do housekeeping and other domestic tasks. Permanent and full-time employment. The two caregivers will have separate schedules and will not work at the same time. Each caregiver will work 5 days per week, according to a separate schedule established in order to ensure complementary coverage of the family’s needs.

The first caregiver will work Monday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Her days off will generally be Friday and Saturday.

The second caregiver will work Tuesday from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursday from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Her days off will generally be Monday and Sunday.

Salary: $19/hour. Two days off per week are provided for each caregiver, but these may vary depending on the employer’s schedule; flexibility is therefore essential for the employer. Possibility to stay at the employer’s residence at no additional cost. The caregivers may be required to take care of the house and the children in the absence of the parents. Required language: French or English

*Educational level required:

General High school diploma – Completed 

*Experience related to employment:

1-2 Years of experience with children or equivalent experience, either through work or studies as a teacher, nurse, midwife, or psychologist is required.

*Other conditions:

Punctuality, reliability, judgment, sense of responsibility, good interpersonal skills, organizational skills, experience with children.
