IN-HOME CAREGIVER (QUÉBEC – J1X 3W2)

Description

A busy professional family in Magog is seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide assistance and companionship to an elderly man with a chronic illness. The caregiver will support him with his daily routine, including medication management, meal planning and preparation, and general household responsibilities in the employer's absence. The position requires working 40 hours per week, six days a week, with a schedule of 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM from Monday to Friday and 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturday. The salary is $19 per hour. Days off are usually Saturday and Sunday, but flexibility is essential as they may vary depending on the employer’s shift schedule.

Required languages: English required; French is an asset.

*Educational level required:

General High school diploma – Completed 

*Experience related to employment:

1-2 Years of experience with the elderly or equivalent experience, either through work or studies as a nurse, midwife, or psychologist is required.

*Other conditions:

Punctuality, reliability, judgment, sense of responsibility, good interpersonal skills, organizational skills, experience with elderly.
