Description
An elderly person in Verdun is seeking a caregiver who can also provide housekeeping and other domestic support. This is a permanent, full-time position (40 hours per week, five days per week), with working hours from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The salary is $19 per hour. The caregiver will typically have two days off per week, usually Saturday and Sunday; however, this may vary depending on the employer’s schedule, so flexibility is essential. A live-in option is available at no additional cost. In the wife’s absence, the caregiver may be required to care for the home and assist the husband. Required languages: French or English.
Educational level required:
General high school diploma – completed.
Experience related to employment:
1–2 years of experience with elderly people, or equivalent experience, either through work or studies as a nurse, midwife, or psychologist, is required.
Other conditions:
Punctuality, reliability, good judgment, sense of responsibility, good interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and experience with elderly persons .
