Birch Grove Restaurant & Take Out located in St. George, NB is hiring Head Chef

You will be responsible for the following:

• Prepare and cook various kinds of foods on the menu.
• Make various kinds of appetizers.
• Create new menus and recipes to cater to the customers’ demand.
• Supervise cooks and kitchen helpers in their relevant duties of preparation, cooking and handling food.
• Inspect ingredients for quality and freshness and supervising all food preparation.
• Take charge of keeping the kitchen clean and safe.
• Ensure quality of food and portion control.
• Train and teach cooking skills.

You need to meet the following qualifications:

2-3 years of experience as a commercial cook is required. 

Secondary school education is required.

Language of work is English.

Your hourly wage will be $29-30.

4 % vacation pay.

This is a full-time, permanent position.
